Edward Sellers Vineyards and Winery
Paso Robles, California
Edward Sellers Vineyards and Windery
Edward Sellers grows and handpicks most of our grapes from the calcareous-rich hillsides found on the west side of Paso Robles. All of the vineyards with which we work have been strategically planted in small blocks to make the most of the vineyards' own unique character. It is Paso Robles’s climate, soils and vineyard diversity that makes Paso Robles ideally suited for growing the Rhône varieties of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Counoise, Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier and Grenache Blanc.

Our Estate Vineyard is situated in the heart of the Templeton Gap, a microclimate greatly influenced by the Santa Lucia Coastal Mountain Range and the Pacific Ocean. This area is characterized by glorious clear, sunny days with temperatures reaching into the high 90's. By late afternoon, those temperatures cool as much as 40 degrees as the Pacific Ocean's misty marine layer creeps through the mountain pass. This fluctuation is critical to attain the intense varietal characteristics displayed in our wines.

It is each of these Paso Robles vineyard’s terroir that produces the finest Rhône varietals on the California Coast.
