Brangayne of Orange wines will be shown at the Australian Wine Experience in Toronto on September 17, 2003. The Brangayne vineyards lie on the north eastern slopes of the extinct volcano Mount Canobolas, near Orange in New South Wales, one of the highest and coolest grape growing districts in Australia. The cold climate offers ideal conditions for the production of premium grapes, combining generous fruit flavour, acid and length in wines of intensity and elegance.

Established in the spring of 1970 by Ian Summerfield in the foothills of the Blue Pyrenees, the winery has produced high-end Shiraz and Cabernets. While a small producer, James Halliday in the Australian Wine Companion says of Summerfield
"A specialist red wine producer, the particular forte of which is Shiraz, the red wines are consistently excellent, luscious and full-bodied, fruit driven with a slice of vanillin oak to top them off."
